Justification or Use Case for Access to Resources in Domo
Hello everyone! I am beginning to build out better data governance policies for my instance and documenting them for all users to see. I'm specifically struggling with policy and documentation around a user explaining why they need access to a particular resource, so the applicable approvers can make an informed access…

Governance
governance question - Is there a way to pull the total number of unique KPIs or metrics within our instance and how often they get viewed? We are trying to put together a high-level usage presentation together that shows how many unique metrics are being viewed by how many folks on a weekly or monthly basis for example.

Usually I use PDP giving access to some areas, but for exceptions I can not just give access to everything, like Employees of Area A but not access to a specific employee out of 300 is posible to use a not in for a PDP?

Field Use Export
Is there a Governance connector or way to filter to a dataset and determine which columns are used in cards/beastmodes?

Include User Landing Page in "People" DomoStats
It's great that we can set a landing page and mobile landing page for each user in the admin settings but there is no way to globally view all set landing pages outside of clicking into each user profile. With 300 users we need this added as a column into DomoStats to assist with administration. Thanks!

Filter locked cards in Admin content section
Before posting in the ideas exchange I wanted to check here to see if anyone already had a solution. We lock all BI team owned cards and dashboards. It would be very helpful if there were a way to filter to only unlocked cards, select all unlocked cards, and lock them.

Help! We need some features added to Governance
Instead of typing and sending screenshots, I've prepared a video overview of a pretty serious and problematic issue we (an most likely others) are facing in regards to locking down access. Use Case PDP locked down data, and SHARE ONLY access to standardized workspaces and cards. Screenshot of permissions listed at the end…

Improved CSS for Page Modals on Groups
When creating a new group it is sometimes difficult to see which dashboards and cards to add to the group especially if the names are lengthy as they get cut off by a wrap style. I suggest a CSS change to allow the modal to be most of the view width. Existing Modal Improved Modal The CSS changes are quite simple:…

Where can I find the Description when you save a dataflow
I would like to create a card showing the changes to dataflows and the description. I have looked in domo stats and also domo governance and dont see it. I am looking for the comment you add before you save. Not the description of the dataflow that you put along with the title.

Option to Require Descriptions on DataFlow Versions
Domo currently supports adding descriptions to edits/versions of a DataFlow. However, these descriptions are not required and thus are often easily ignored. It would be very nice to have an option to require these descriptions on an instance-wide basis. Descriptions are absolutely critical to understanding how a DataFlow…

Card Sharing Governance Data?
Hey Folks, I've been digging through every single available governance/domostats dataset and I cant seem to find any data related to cards and who they've been shared with. I can easily find out who owns cards and what pages/datasets they belong too, but does anyone know of any governance data that tells me all the…

Extend the grants section for setting up roles to include 'Certified' content
It would be good to have a grant / setting so that you could prevent users/roles/groups from seeing uncertified content. If it was added at a grant level for Roles then we could create custom Groups such that some users can see uncertified content, and others can't. This could be separated out by what the object type is…

Dynamic Group governance data
Is there anyway to get the criteria that was used to create a Dynamic group as a governance dataset or somewhere in DOMO without having to open every group individually?

Managing Data Retention Policy
Currently, there's no feature to create and manage custom rules for handling historical data within datasets. Companies have specific rules on how long they are allowed to keep different types of data and it looks like it is not easy to enforce this in Domo. There should be settings in DataSets where we can define…

Is there a way to mass update sharing settings for mutliple dataset?
Hi, I need to remove user & group access from 100+ datasets in Domo. Is there a way to do this en masse without clicking on the detail view for each dataset and managing sharing settings individually? Any tips would be much appreciated! On a separate note, I'm not sure why certain users & groups suddenly gain access to a…

Confidentiality Footer/Watermark/Header/Card
I propose the addition of an automatic header/footer/watermark feature for all printed cards/dashboards and possibly a footer for all dashboards/cards, especially when being presented. We present a lot of financial data in our dashboards and our legal department would like to put confidentiality statements on sensitive…

Add ability restrict export of individual cards
We need the ability to restrict the download of specific cards without turning download off for users across the instance. Can this feature be considered? Another way to do it would be to embed in the PDP permissions of a policy. That way we can assign which policies can export.

PDP Automation and Ignoring Case Sensitivity?
Hi All - I have been working on automating PDP for my company but have run into a bit of a snag. By default PDP is case sensitive and if I were manually creating policies using the Domo UI, it's easy enough to just tick the "Ignore case" checkbox. However, when generating policies in an automated fasion, it seems like the…

DOMO GOVERNANCE PAGE OVERLAY
It would be really nice as an Admin to look at a page/dashboard and see some sort of overlay giving governance information. For example, look at a page/dashboard and see a color highlighted overlay showing the most used/least used card, or see a number pop up of who the users are that are viewing the card most recently.…

Enhanced Admin Screens for Card Governance / Managements
It would be helpful if it was possible to add additional fields to the interface on the Cards Management Content Admin Screeens in Domo to allow for filtering and bulk editing. By default, the cards admin screens will show the card name, the owner, the dashboards where it lives, the card type, and when it was last edited.…

Comment and Save Versions for Beastmodes
It would be great if beastmodes had a comment and save version function just like when we update dataflows. When we update the dataflow (in Magic ETL), it really helps to have the comment section for version updates. If we have something similar for beastmodes, it would be helpful as we can understand why certain…

What to Know Before Implementing Domo Certifications
Hello, my team is looking into using the certification process in Domo for the first time. Our goal in using it would be to better organize and manage our instance, to easily identify our forward-facing assets, and to make clean-up of junk cards and datasets easier in the future. I was wondering if anyone has used this…

Are there any workbench reports available to show configurations for all jobs?
Is it possible to get a list of all directories and files used by Work Bench without having to go through each job one by one? My colleagues and I are working to clean up our workbench instance. One of the issues we've run into is that the jobs are pulling from personal folders that we don't always have the permissions to…
