Scenario - I have a dataset that I change once in a while i.e - Adding/removing column from source. Question - I want to keep track over the changes made on the dataset configurations in DOMO, is there any place where I can track this in DOMO?
It's good to know the underlying databse table or view on which the dataset is created in order to backtrack any issues. In case developer of the dataset leaves role/org it's difficult to find the datasource table/view name.
I'm just looking for a quick way to get a full list of all fields being used in cards/beast mode calculations or any other area. For example, we use hubspot connectors which bring all hubspot data into domo. I want a list to see which fields from hubspot we are actually referencing in domo.
We recently had a dataset auto-archive because it was not accessed in a long time. Can somebody explain what the parameters are for when Domo will decide to archive a dataset? Additionally, is there a way to prevent this from happening with a specific dataset? Regards, Jack
I use several connectors that do not currently have partitioning capabilities. Is there a way to rebuild them to allow this capability? For example, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc do not have the merge option.
I've got access to the partitioning beta and trying to figure out where to start. I have a number of legacy datasets (marketing platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads and Google Analytics) and dataflows that are clunky at best and go the long route to handle recursive data. I'm looking to simplify and make these…
I want confirmation that if I shift over a bunch of dataset view calculated columns to run in the dataflow instead of on the dataset view that I can potentially boost the performance of my dashboards. Currently, the dashboards run okay, but filtering takes a while. The dashboards are heavily leveraging COUNT(DISTINCT()),…
I am trying to split up a column using the ETL. The field is formatted as TEXT and has both HH:MM:SS data and MM:SS data (not uniform). I need to convert it to a uniform format so I can break it down into Hours, minutes and seconds of time (End result I am going to add it all up to seconds). After splitting I will convert…
Is there a way to track if a dataset is connected to another data flow? Developing a card right now that looks at if a dataset has zero cards in order to see if we need to keep the dataset in domo. If a dataset has zero cards but is connected to another dataset via dataflow, I will want to keep it in domo, otherwise I want…
Is there a best practice approach customers are using to remove or anonymize PII data for former clients? (tools, other clients who may have done this, etc.)
