Views keeps converting time to UTC
Hi All,
I am having an issue with a dataset. I am trying to extract an hourly occupancy from people's entry and exit dates and time. However, Views keeps converting the times from Eastern to UTC. I have checked, and my company's time zone is already set to Eastern.
I'm not sure what to do from here. If I do an offset in a function, I would have to set up two because UTC doesn't follow DST. Then, even if it works, the dates for DST would be different every year and mess up the data.

@HowDoIDomo I'm not aware of any settings like that, but I did find a helpful formula that adjusts for daylight savings:

@HowDoIDomo I would check the timezone of the dataset used for the view. If it is not the same timezone as your instance, it may be trying to convert it.

Hi Michelle,
Thank you for checking out my question. AT first, the dataset was set to UTC in workbench and subtracted 4-5 hrs from the time, and then would add the hours back in when manipulating the data (conveniently the correct Eastern time). Then, once we updated the time zone setting in workbench, it came in without change the time, but the "hour" and "time" functions still shift 4-5 hrs depending on DST.
Is there a setting for Views that I need to toggle to specify EST?
