Using Count Function in Filter

Created a simple Beast Mode function that counts the number of times a name appers I want to put that function into the filter section and only diplay names with a count of two or more.

Can't drag this calculated field into the filters.

Is this not allowed? Any quick workarounds?

Beast Modes which output numeric values can't be used in a filter. What you can do is create a label (include or exclude) which can be used in that fllter.

I've run into this many times and would love to see an upgrade here that would allow some sort of master filter with numeric values. The issue is that when the beast mode calculates the numberic value, it can't then be used to filter it to show a filtered data set. As I understand it, this forces the beast mode to calculate again on the filtered data set which changes the result (because beast mode is dynamic).

Good suggestion. I ran into this issue too but ended up creating a dataflow. Makes sense that they should enhance the platform to allow for filtering.

Kung-fu-Panda. What label did you create? I have simple count if function, I tried wrapping the countif in a boolean function CASE WHEN COUNT > 1 THEN 0 ELSE 1 END... but that can't be used in the filter either.

Duc how did you solve this issue with a data flow?

I created a new field in the dataflow and that field can be used as a filter.

It is a solution. Is there a wish list area? I think being able to filter on numeric beast mode functions would be very helpful.
