Limit/Filter to Top X

Team,

Is there a way to only show the top X number of records?

I have a chart obfuscated and pasted below. It has everything and responds to user filters at the dashboard level that would result in about ~15% remaining. The resultant view is much more digestable, but I have users panic at the baseline default view:

Any ideas to resolve this? Perhaps I need to abstract it up one level and then create a drill down? I can maybe filter to be "ABOVE AVERAGE"? Ideally I could just filter to the TOP 10 in the dataset, and then after other filters are applied it's still the TOP 10 of the resultant dataset.

Open to guidance on best practice here.

You can achieve this with the Maximum Items option under Chart Properties > General. Everything outside the limit will be turned into an Other bar, which you can leave or then choose to hide two options down.
