Please recommend a better editor than whats in the dataflow Transform to buid and de-bug MySQL

Can anyone please recommend a better editor than whats in the dataflow Transform to buid and de-bug MySQL code. We are a Microsoft shop trying to learn MySQL. Just like TSQL uses Management Studio to buid and de-bug code, I need a better editor for MySQL.

I personally like to use MySQL workbench for working with MySQL tables. There is also one called Sequel Pro that others I have worked with enjoy.
