Did anyone receive this error message in SQL data flow: BLOB/TEXT column 'ds-value' used in key spec

Hi,

 

I am receiving the below error message while creating an index on a column. Did anyone experience this issue?

The database reported a syntax error. BLOB/TEXT column 'ds-value' used in key specification without a key length

You probably have a value in the column that's too long or the datatype is varying length for each value, so the indexing has trouble identifying unique values.

Maybe try forcing the column to a certain length of characters first.
