Display Range on Multi-Value
Currently, the multi-value gauge can be used to compare two values & display the %change. It will be beneficial if we can add a way to show a range of values like min & max on the multi-values gauge
The only way to do this currently is to use a text box & use the concat function on two different values.

PPT Add-in: Cards need dynamic resizing and reformatting
In the current PPT Plug-in, if you change the size of an imported card - all of the dimensions/sizing/text will auto resize and format
In the new PPT Add-in, card dimensions are defaulted to one layout size. If you change the dimensions of the card, the card / text does not auto resize.
In the new PPT Add-in, we have also lost the functionality to individually refresh one card via Right Click > Domo > Refresh. This is helpful when we make a change to a card in DOMO and just need to update that imported card in PPT
Domo functionality to compare any time period to any other time period
The idea is to give users the ability to easily compare any entered date range to any other entered date range (with the entered date values persisting across dashboard/app pages in Domo Everywhere embed), and the ask is for Domo to make this functionality native to the platform.
We currently accomplish this via DDX Brick Date Filter, DDX Brick Navigation Bar (to persist the date range values across dashboards) Variable Controls, and hundreds of Beastmodes.
This does work, but is problematic and inefficient for a number of reasons that have been shared in detail with Domo.
Current State Example
Example DDX Brick:
Example card reflecting the applied 'Current' and 'Compare to' values from the brick:
In this example, the Clicks metric has two corresponding Beastmodes:
Clicks (Current)
Clicks (Compare)
The 'Current' values also determine the period that displays when there is not a comparison being made:
Example of Desired Future State:
For example, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama):
Any components that compare one timeframe to another are automatically updated based on the user input. The same is accomplished with platform functionality without the need for custom Bricks/Apps/Variables/etc.
This has all been shared in greater detail with Domo leadership and it was also recommended that we submit this summary as an Idea here.
We have searched Domo Community and see several similar asks and other heavy solutions as workarounds. It looks like this enhancement would benefit many other customers as well. If this is something you'd also like to see in Domo, please upvote.
Thank you 😊

More Grants
Lately I've been running into limitations on custom roles due to the lack of some grants. Mainly around a "view only" user experience. Many actions are tied to development activities. For example, to be able to share pages, you also have to be able to edit pages. To be able to share cards, you have to be able to edit cards. These ought to be decoupled.
Split Edit and Share Grants
Requirement:
The main requirement is that a customer would like Sharing to have as its own grant on objects rather than combined with Edit grants. It will enable them to have better governance of their instances.
Current Behavior:
The current Edit Cards grant is too broad and allows multiple activities for an end user. We would like to separate the content creation and the content sharing process to avoid data sharing issues.
Enhancement Description:
- An area of concern is Authors with this grant(Edit cards) might end up sharing content with incorrect users. Since data sensitivity is important, this grant introduces high risk of data leaks.
- Priority 1:
- Break out content edit and sharing into separate grants to allow platform admins to deploy correct grants to avoid incorrect sharing by Authors
- Priority 2:
- Introduce a new grant that allows users (editors/authors) to share content and datasets only to directory groups and not to any individual users.
Example:
Person A has Editor/Author role in Sandbox
He has created datasets, cards & pages in sandbox.
"A" wants to share them with users in sandbox.
"A" is part of 2 directory groups DOMO_ABC and DOMO_XYZ.
After clicking share, "A" should only see the 2 above mentioned directory groups via autofill option.
PDF export: optional first page?
It would be great to have an option to disable creation of generic first page. In case you don't need this page you have to delete it and change all the page numbers in PDF, which means you need the proper license and time to do it.
Ability to impersonate a user
We frequently have situations where a user can't see a page or they get "request access" on the cards. To help us diagnose the issues, we would like to be able to impersonate a user, to see what they see.
Last X Periods to Date
I would like to add to the date filters on the to right corner of charts the following options:
- Life to Date
- Last [X] [Period] to Date
I have a dataset where a number exists for 'Max Business Date' each day. As the days pass, the number gets bigger until it reaches the total number of business days at the end of the month. i.e. June 3 =1, June 4 = 2, June 5 = 3. There are future dates in the dataset that I want to exclude. June has 19 business days, but I only want to see 3 because today is June 5. When I use any of the following date filers [week-to-date, month-to-date, quarter-to-date, year-to-date], I see the proper max business date for each month (May is 22, June is 3, July is excluded). However, when I use the following date ranges [Today, This Week, This Month, This Year], I see the max business dates per each month despite those being future dates. I want to be able to use date filters that allow me to see various time periods to-date (life, last X Y to date).
1. 'Life to Date' is pretty straightforward: show the entire dataset through today. This will function as the other to-date columns [week, month, quarter, year].
2. 'Last [X] [Period] to Date' is a combination of the existing functionality [for example, Last 13 Months] and the existing 'to-Date' functionality, as described above. I want to be able to filter the top right of any chart type to see the Last 13 Months to Date.
Thanks so much!

Possibility to tag alerts
It might be useful to have the possibility of tagging alerts, as is possible for Datasets and Dataflows
Automatically share the content of the parent dashboard to users and groups added to sub-dashboard
Now when you share a sub-dashboard, Domo shares the parent dashboard with the same users and groups as the shared sub-dashboard, but the content on the parent dashboard is not shared.
It would be useful to automatically share the content of the parent dashboard as well.
