Improved filter interactions
As of right now the domo filter bar (screenshot below)
allows you to natively filter a date through the menu to the right. Said filter, however, only affects cards within a dashboard and does not affect whatever dimension you are selecting from the bar itself.
In the screenshot you can see a City dimension. That dimension WILL NOT be filtered by the native domo date filter to the right of the bar.
This means that, if i were to select a date range from the native domo date filter, say previous month, and then if i were to click on the city dimension, the cities that would show up on the list WILL NOT be filtered by the previous month date range. Instead, you will end up seeing all the cities within the dataset that dimension comes from.
This is obviously confusing and cannot be disabled/managed in any way.
To make matter worse, if you were to first filter the date range, say previous month, and then click on an actual filter card within a dashboard, say the card in our example filters cities, said card would be filtered. However, if you were to select a city from said card, the name of the city would appear on the top of the bar. If you, however, were to then click on the dimension from the bar, said dimension would end up showing ALL the cities, once again bypassing the date range you previously selected.
This causes entrophy and confusion for the user.
Schedule App Studio Reports
Currently, we can schedule dashboards and cards to be sent to numerous people. Is there a way to do this in App Studio as well?
It will be extremely helpful if we can have this function for App Studios.

Multiple instance support for PDP Automation toolkit
When we need to apply PDP rules for some dataset across N instances we need to create N configuration datasets and N jobs for each instance.
Configuration dataset may contain additional Instance column and then we could add only 1 job and connect to 1 configuration dataset. All this information could be produced from Observability metrics using ETL and automated very easily.
More details are in this short video explaining this feature
DOMO Mobile APP refresh(lose filters) when another app is briefly open
We are using DOMO mobile app in iPhone and iPad. Our dashboards keep loosing the filters when briefly change to another app or minimize the screen. This behavior decreases heavily the usability because we have to filter the dashboards many times.
I tried to troubleshoot the problem without success. It happens across different devices, even when DOMO is the only app open. It is very uncomfortable because we need to filter the platform many times and sometimes takes a lot of time.
I do not know if the solution is changing something on the devices configuration or the DOMO team needs to update the mobile app. I would appreciate your help with this issue.
Ability to duplicate page in App Studio
I know we can currently import an existing dashboard into App Studios but it will be very helpful if we can duplicate a page in App Studios. I've made a couple of edits on one of my pages and wanted to duplicate it but we don't currently have that option in DOMO.

domo.onFiltersUpdate to include Variables with DDX Brick
Please add the ability to update bricks on variable updates just as the bricks update with page filters changes.
May 2024 Domo Release
If you logged into Domo today, you should have seen a preview of the new features and enhancements and betas coming to Domo next week. As I started doing earlier in the year, posting a PDF here since those messages disappear
once you read them. Enjoy.
Make Exporting, User Comments, and Real Time Collaboration Possible within App Studio
There are two main concerns my team has which is preventing us from utilizing App Studo more: 1) the inability to export cards or outputs to Excel/PPT and 2) the inability for users to communicate or point out key findings with each other in the platform.
A majority of dashboards we create typically require and/or influence communication between stakeholders on what actions we should take to address Y or prompt a stakeholder to find out what's driving X reulsts and why. However, as of today I'm not aware of a way for one stakeholder to communicate such points with another in the platform and to an extent and easy way to do it outside of the platform.
Giving users the ability to either add commentary to cards/in tables or highlight specific sections could help address this. It seems users only have the ability to filter and that severely limits the what they can do when collaborating with others if they aren't sitting side-by-side. Another potential solution could be to add the ability for one user to quickly share what they're seeing, without having to share the specific filters or drill downs they've done. This could be achieved via exporting, but also allowing users to quickly send a link or email from the platform on what exactly they're looking at.
Hover Text Settings for Radial Gauge
It would be helpful to be able to turn off the hover text on a radial gauge. I would like to be able to show the range without the customer seeing the actual value.
