A way to identify/report on hidden datasets
Found out that when users add certain full service apps from the appstore to your instance, it can result in "hidden datasets" existing in your platform. These datasets aren't visible in the datacenter, nor do they appear on any Domostats reports. Per support, Domo has an api endpoint that can be searched by dataset owner id with hidden=true, but this shows you all datasets that haven't been shared explicitly with you rather than hidden datasets you're unable to see in your Domo instance. You can compare the data from the endpoint to one of the domostats connector in a dataflow to find hidden datasets, but a more straightforward way of getting at this data would be appreciated.

Re: WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK: What topics would you like to see covered during our monthly meet-ups?
I'd love to see some examples of well-designed and function rich dashboards using the new AppStudio feature in combination with Workflows.
Does the DomoStats Consumption Datasets count towards our Credit Consumption?
See title. I feel like that's a slimy move to say, here check out your credits, and by the way, to see how much you're using, it'll cost you… But maybe that's just me.

Enable Preview Up to Point in ETL
Most of the time I don't need to preview the entire ETL. It would be nice to be able to drag/select the tiles of the ETL that I would like to preview up until.
Apps being able to be used by Dashboards
So, I have created an App. It is a glorified dashboard basically. It resides in "xxxxxxx.domo.com/apps-studio/xxxxxxx/pages/xxxxxxx".
However I want the App (dashboard) to reside in my Dashboards menu (too), so it resides as a page ("xxxxxxx.domo.com/page/xxxxxxx").
The reason is that the users are used to the dashboards menu UX and an App inside the apps studio is not organized in any menu like way.
Apps studio just lists app like this:
I want my apps to be able to reside as pages here:
PDF/PowerPoint exporting - Image
Exporting a page/dashboard as PDF or PowerPoint is a great feature to help utilise DOMO content outside of the DOMO platform, however when images are used on a dashboard there are some limitations.
If the image is uploaded directly, or using links where the image is hosted in DOMO, the images are exported fine. However, we have discovered with a recent use case that if an image is linked from a location that requires user authentication, it is not included in the export.
The case has a dashboard that has been set up for multiple areas, and because the different areas report on the same KPI's/measures, filters and PDP are used rather than create 8 different dashboards.
Images are required to be updated on a regular basis, the image is then displayed on the dashboard by linking in a HTML table, utilising the same PDP/Filters to determine which area's image to display.
First attempt was to upload the images directly into DOMO, however the latest image is required, and automating the revisionId of the image has not yet been figured out.
As the images are not able to be hosted on a site that makes them available to the public, the image libraries on our internal SharePoint were created. The link for the files is obtained through the SharePoint connector and combined into a table which then displays on the dashboard.
As mentioned above, the issue comes when trying to export the dashboard. Whilst the authentication seems to pass through allowing people to view the dashboard, the export function does not utilise this and the image section of the dashboard shows as a broken image.
The export function needs to be able to export everything that the user performing the export can see on the dashboard.
Export to Excel: include images in cells
Current Powerpoint/PDF export is designed to be just a screenshot rendering of a card. Excel export gets more data but the Excel spreadsheet does not display the images as the card does. Please see the example attached.
It would be great to have export display as is on the card.
Long Running Dataflow Alerting/Auto-Restart
We need to have the ability to understand when dataflows are running longer than the average duration. We would like to set user defined alert criteria based upon the dataflow's duration. For example: alert when dataflow has been running 15min, 1hr, etc. longer than the average for the dataflow.
Having the functionality of a dataflow auto-restart when the alert condition occurs is part 2 of this enhancement request.
Clearly indicate that a data connector is deprecated
It would be helpful to have a more obvious indicator in the App Store and Data Center that a Connector has been deprecated so users don't try to use it to create new connections.
For example, the Microsoft SharePoint Online Connector does not indicate that it has been deprecated in the App Store (or the Data Center when a user tries to use it). However, if a user has problems using the connector and they go to the documentation for it, the page shows it has been deprecated.

Set User Landing Page / Mobile Landing Page to App Studio App
Currently, can't set user landing pages on mobile or desktop to an App Studio app. This functionality would be very helpful with driving adoption of new products we've built using app studio.
