Does the DomoStats Consumption Datasets count towards our Credit Consumption?

See title. I feel like that's a slimy move to say, here check out your credits, and by the way, to see how much you're using, it'll cost you… But maybe that's just me.

    We explicitly added the ability to change the Domostats to less frequent than daily (used to be the only option) as we started rolling out consumption. If you feel like you only get value looking at it once a month or as needed manually, you now have that control.

    Our account team confirmed that it does count towards our credit usage, and I agree that it seems questionable to charge for the data we have to use in order to monitor and reduce the credits we'll be charged for. And the datasets with history will accrue credits at a faster rate, since the number of rows can be quite large.

    While we can schedule it to update less frequently, that doesn't seem like a great solution, especially if we need to closely monitor our usage.
