Tracking Usage & Measuring Success

Hi team,

We've loved Domo and every day and every dashboard it feels like we are making progress towards a more-informed future.

I want to be able to measure the success that we've had. I am aware of the DomoStats People app and the DomoStats Activity Log, but how do you all measure the impact of all that we do? How can I quantify the reach? How can I concretely communicate the insights that Domo has allowed?

I'm looking for broad ideas and strategies - I can determine the implementation and fine details myself. Any help is appreciated!

@Data_Devon I've found it most useful to focus specific use cases.

For example, we rely heavily on Domo for systematically identifying exceptions that need correcting based on a set of criteria according to data from our other systems. In that case we can measure benefits by measuring the time to resolve exceptions before and after implementing alerts in Domo.

Similarly, you can consider any manual reports that Domo has made obsolete. If you estimate the amount of time it took to compile the report before Domo and multiply by the frequency it was run, that translates into man hour savings.

Let me know if you want me to show you what I do. I have dashboards that show me how many views they get, most active people etc. That way we know which dashboards are getting the most engagement.
