Stopping Emails from going out on User Creation.

Hello,

As the title suggests, is there a way to stop emails from going out when a new user is created or when pages are added to a user through the admin tab?

We enabled SSO so now we can't edit the email address once the user has been created.

Not sure if this question has been asked before.
