Beast Mode: Returning the name of the month for all values...syntax error

Hi All,

I am trying to make my date value state 'January' instead of '1'.

I've been trying to use the MONTHNAME formula in beast mode but it won't let me complete it due to a syntax error.

This is what I am typing in as the function - MONTHNAME('DateCol')

Please see the highlighted portion of my attached screenshot for a better picture.

There is probably a simple explanation but I am new to Beast Mode so any help would be great!

MONTHNAME funciton only works with columns that are loaded as Date or Date/time data type(i.e. 1/1/2017). From your description, looks like you're loading the DateCol as a numeric column.
