When we expand the Bubble chart, how to keep Summary numbers "Dynamic"?
Summary value can be changed from Dashboard view if we unselect a few entries but when I expand the chart and exclude the same entries the summary value remains Static and shows Total sums for all the entries!
In Expand view;
Problem is that when I "exclude or unselect a few entries" in bubble chart, the summary number doesn't change the value it remains static.

I think that is the expected behavior - by design.
What about adding a dynamic summary as it's own card? Create a separate card using the same dataset and filters. And it will change with the selections.** Was this post helpful? Click Agree or Like below. **

Hii Coach,
Yes, that is an alternative way, but each user wants to exclude a few entries based on their preference and that preference varies for the same user so practically it's challenging to create multiple separate cards.0 -
Sample data
Item,Category,Cost
Widget A,Electronics,1200
Widget B,Electronics,1450
Widget C,Furniture,980
Widget D,Furniture,860
Widget E,Office Supplies,430
Widget F,Office Supplies,390
Widget G,Tools,1500
Widget H,Tools,1330
Widget I,Tools,1420When I do this as a bubble chart
And then I expand it and filter it
I do see the summary dynamically change. So my first question - is that what you are doing and not seeing? What I meant by a separate cardβ¦was to put your bubble chart card on a dashboard with other cards acting as filter. And create a single card to summarize. Just one card. But I'm a bit confused why your chart is not dynamically changing. Did I misunderstand your question or how you are filtering?

Jay.p is talking about clicking/unclicking the legend to filter the card. I also see this behavior when viewing the "detailed" version of the card (not just on bubble charts, either). If people are looking at this card in the "detailed view", you could add your series as a "quick filter", which will always appear in that detailed view, and could be used to dynamically filter the summary number:
When viewing the card on a dashboard itself, clicking/unclicking the legend does work to filter the summary number (for me at least).
