We are scaling effectively and I'm kicking off our first "Super User" group to help grow the team of capable users.

Tapping into the collective brilliance of this community - what's a fun name for our super user group??

Bonus points if there's some play on words regarding:

Vance Thompson Vision (our company)

Ophthalmology specifically (our line of service)

Or any other vision/eye care puns

As someone who inherited a Domo environment from a predecessor, just make sure you include a clear description on the group and documentation. Fun names are fun, but don't let them get in the way of good process and understandability for those that weren't there when it was named.

Nice! Are you on a user license model or consumption? If you're on consumption, you may think of standing up a sandbox/education instance so users can level up without breaking anything in the process!

@Data_Devon could you share a bit more about this group? How do you intend to use it? To me, a group in Domo has the primary function of sharing content with a large number of people at once. For your super users, I wonder if a custom Domo Role would be appropriate? We call our super users "Power Users" and have a teams channel with that title that they all belong to to share Domo related comments/questions. It's cool to see power users answer other power users questions without a BI Team member needing to chime in. We also do special Power User only trainings from Domo or that we host. We also invite Power Users to get Domo certified, which really helps with leveling up.

@ColemenWilson - I should've been more clear.

I am currently the sole "producer"/developer in Domo, and the hope of this group is to help others gain confidence in Domo to assist in production, problem solving, and development.

The purpose of this group, then, is to formalize a select few people that have demonstrated interest and availability for upleveling their Domo skills.

Perhaps a lot of the group will essentially be simply assigning Domo material for their own consumption?
