How to create dropdown filters within a card
Hello,
New to Domo. How do I create multiple dropdown filters within a card… with the dropdowns being displayed above a table.
Ex: Built in table that allow the users to filter by a company's department and then filter by status. The table below to then reflect the filtered data

What you've shown in your screenshot are "Filter Views" they are bit different. In my screenshot I added filter cards (cards whose only purpose is to filter other content) to the dashboard.
Here is a KB article explaining filter views:
To use filter cards, what I showed in my screenshot, you need to create a filter card in analyzer and then add those to the dashboard. While in analyzer view, go over to chart types and select "Filters"
Then select "Dropdown selector" as the chart type:
Then save the card and add it to your dashboard.

Hello, and welcome to the community! I trust you'll feel supported and encouraged as you delve into the Domosphere.
I like to use "Filters" card types that are placed in a logical space around the table that will reflect the applied filters.
The "Dropdown selector" will be perfect for your use case. You can create a table, and then using the same dataset (this is important so the filter interacts) create a Dropdown selector.
This should get you started, but let us know if you have further questions.

Thanks for your quick response!
I tried the dropdown selector but didn't see a way to create a second filter on the same page. Also, how do I see the table details reflected? Do I have to create a drilldown or is there a way to have the filtered table on the same page without drilling down?

This is not possible within a card, however you have some options:
1. Create a dashboard and add drop down filters above your table card on the dashboard
2. Add quick filters to the table card to filter the data, these will be either single select, multi-select or match values filters - Not a dropdown.

You can create multiple filter cards on your dashboard, as shown in my screenshot above. Just create a new filter card and save it to the dashboard. When you use the filter on the dashboard it will apply to all cards on the dashboard that have data powering them with that field name.

Thank you for your quick response! The first example is what I need.. I feel like I'm missing some key steps. I created the dashboard, created quick filters in the card and created the filters on the dashboard view… I guessing there's a switch that I didn't hit?
