Ability to hide tabs

Currently we can hide pages on an app from user view (great for making an archive!). My question is can we do this for tabs within pages? I have use cases where it would be useful to hide a tab when it is irrelevant then unhide when it is again.

if not (and this is likely a different question altogether) can we have the ability to move whole tabs/groups of reports to different pages within an app? To this point we have been saving a new version of reports to the archive (hidden page) then deleting the original which would work so much better if we could drag/drop or even use the copy/move option on cards

Gotcha! App Page/Tab get used interchangeably and it can be confusing. For hiding tabs, it seems like that should be something doable, as the Tabs editing interface is almost identical to App Pages. These are great ideas! Unfortunately, this feature is not currently available for regular pages/dashboards. I would recommend submitting that to our ideas exchange.

Yes. Go to your app and then:

Edit > Pages and navigation > Order > (select the app page) > Page settings (the cog icon) > Include page on navigation

This will keep the app page, but hide it from users viewing the app:

@ColemenWilson thanks, this is what we are currently doing. The problem is that I have tabs on a page where I want the page to stay but the tabs to hide
for example: I want to hide the "Life Sciences" tab because their event is done and then bring it back come the next event. so right now I am saving a new version of each report to our hidden "Archive" page then deleting the tab on all its reports on the "Sales Quarterly contest" page
