Why doesn't my line + bar chart show the "Show data label on" option?

I want to display data label only for the line but the option is off.

    You need to select a macro to put in the text box (i.e. %_VALUE) and then you can choose Lines Only in Show Datalabels On

    Do you have something in the data label box at the top of those settings? If it's blank it won't display anything, you can use a magic keyword to return the total and then show where you want it displayed on.
