Can anyone walk me through the steps to upload a dataset via the API?

I'm running into a couple issues trying to get this to work.

I think (but am not sure) that the dataset has to initially be created by the API.
1. If that's the case it requires a schema file and I haven't gotten one to work correctly. Anyone have an example that I can use?

Once that is done, if anyone has a working script that uploads the data, I would appreciate it.

Domo provides an example in their Python SDK you can reference:

It does need to be created by the API.

Thank you. I'm working through it. No success yet in creating the example dataset given. The code isn't failing, but nothing is being created. Any ideas?
