Copy an entire dashboard

Is there a way to copy an entire dashboard and just rename it?

My company wants to recreate the exact same dashboard but have one that display fiscal year and calendar year with the exact same formatting. Besides going through each individual card and formatting the dashboards that way, is there a quick copy and paste feature for dashboards?

If this helps, feel free to agree, accept or awesome it!

  • @damen Yes, if you click the wrench in the top right corner of the dashboard and select "Save As" you can copy an existing dashboard.

  • @damen and @MichelleH - A quick note about using the "Save as..." option

This will create a duplicate dashboard. However, it will also duplicate every single card on the dashboard to "Copy of CardName". This means that the copied cards are not "mirrors" of the original card. Meaning that if you change the original card, these copies will not apply the same changes. They will maintain the original format. Another way of saying it is that this is not the same as selecting "Move / Copy" on the card options where you will get multiple locations to view the same card. Rather, you will have two distinct cards that will need to be managed separately.

building on @ST_-Superman-_ 's comment, there is a check box in the Save As dialog for "DUplicate All Cards" - if you leave this checked, then it will create new copies exactly as he outlined in his comment. If you uncheck this, then you will get a new dashboard, but with all of the original cards on it. So if you make changes on the original dashboard, then the new dashboard will also have those card changes, and you will not need to manage them separately. So just be mindful of that checkbox based on what your desired use case is.
