Create a card with variance
Hi Dojo Team,
I'm new in domo and started to explore it. I need your help while creating a crosstab chart or Table chart like below image.
I have three column which inlcude Date, Additions, Depreciation. From all these three column, I want to calcualate variance between two months like below table.
Nov,19 | Sep,19 | Variance | |
Additions during the year | 394182139.1 | 321631631.2 | 72550507.8 |
Depreciation for the year | -433876572 | -352870676 | -81005897 |
Please help me grow, learn by putting your valuable ideas and suggestion on this question.
Thanks
Suman

To acheive something like this I would either recommend using a beast mode calculation (calculation done on the card level where you can create a new column via a calculation.) https://knowledge.domo.com/Visualize/Adding_Cards_to_Domo/KPI_Cards/Transforming_Data_Using_Beast_Mode
Or you may want to look into the ETL feature where you can have the dataset run through the ETL processes, in which one of the steps is calculating the variance so that the column will be in the dataset rather than just on the card. https://knowledge.domo.com/Prepare/Magic_Transforms/ETL_DataFlows/01Creating_an_ETL_DataFlow
