What is the dataset naming convention?

Greetings!

 

What is the valid set of characters that can be used to name datasets in Domo?

How long can a dataset name be?

What are standard conventions for 'partitioning' data into different environments such as: 'Development,Test,Stage,Production'?

Could this be done by naming datasets to include the environment? For example:

 

Test.MonthlyRevenue

Dev.MonthlyRevenue

Prod.MonthlyRevenue

    I will try some experiments now that I know a little more and report the results for what the interface allows. It does look like the conventions are not too restrictive, however, so I don't foresee a problem now. Thanks.
