Hide Domo Cards for user/group

Is there a way to completely hide card that is not available for user based on his user group. This is what my user sees when he is on the dashboard (check image below). I want this box to not be visible to user when card is not shared with him. Is there a way to implement that?

    @sjh Hey there!

    While there isn't out of the box functionality to achieve this right now, you can accomplish this using a Domo brick with a bit of custom code. I'm actually currently working on a video tutorial demonstrating how you can do this.

    If you want to keep it simple, I like your idea on creating a separate dashboard for that user group.

    currently there isn’t. I’d recommend adding an idea to the idea exchange

    Can you please explain what you mean by 'adding an idea to the idea exchange'? One solution that comes to my mind is maybe to create separate dashboard for specific user group.

    @ellibot did a demoslam at Domopalooza this year on conditional rendering that you may be able to use accomplish this. Was the demoslam recorded @Eddie Small? If not, hopefully Elliott can help ya out!
