Is there a dataset or a combination of datasets in Domostats which can be used to get the total number views all cards belonging to a certain dataset have?

Yep! You can use the "Cards and Datasets" report from the Domo Governance Datasets connector. This will give you every card and its associated dataset. You can then use the activity log report from Domostats connector to group the total views by card ID and then join with the Cards and Datasets dataset on Card ID. You could then get the total card views per dataset. Caution: there are duplicates in the Cards and Datasets dataset. If a card exists on multiple pages there will be a row for each page it is on. Also it looks like cards on App Studio Apps are not yet in the Cards and Datasets report.

Another option to consider is using the "Card Loads" Domostats report. Card Loads are any time a card is loaded in Domo. This can be helpful because, for example, an executive may be looking at a dashboard every single day, but never click on any of the cards on the page. So a card VIEW will never be counted. With card LOADS each of those page views would also count as a view for the card on the page.
