    Moving Sub-Dashboards from One Dashboard to Another

    Hi,

    I am trying to move a sub-dashboard I created under dashboard A to under dashboard B, is there a way to do it? The reason I have to created the sub-dashboard under A first is it is a copy of an existing sub-dashboard under A. I need to replicate it to be a sub-dashboard under B. I have tried to move it under 'Manage Dashboard' but it is not successful. Is there a way to do it?

      In the Admin Section under dashboards, you can select a dashboard and then select move dashboard and move it to another parent dashboard.

      Hi @MarkSnodgrass I've been trying to find information on something somewhat related to this post. When you move a dashboard, there are Permissions options to select.

      My questions are:

      A) Does the "Merge permissions" options mean maintain/keep the current permissions of the dashboard I am moving? So if I am moving dashboard 2 under dashboard 1, merge permissions means "keep permissions of dashboard 2"

      B) If dashboard 1 has more exclusive permissions than dashboard 2, will dashboard 1's permissions override dashboard 2's? So if Joe has permissions to dashboard 2 but not dashboard 1, and then dashboard 2 becomes a subpage of dashboard 1, Joe would no longer have access to dashboard 2, regardless if I select "merge permissions"?
