Workbench Extremely Slow Out Of Nowhere

Hello All,

One specific dataset for some reason has started to "crawl" when processing.

It used to take anywhere from 5-10min to process but now it is only processing around 3k rows every 5 min.

Any idea where to begin to look for a reason of this to all of a sudden happen?

We have this on a 2-hour schedule so since it never completes, the next schedule ends up killing the current run and starting a new one and it never completes.

    @Jmoreno - I ran into this a couple of years ago, and if I'm remembering correctly, it was resolved by clearing out some caches. Please reach out to support to confirm before doing anything to though.

    @Jmoreno What kind of dataset is it (Excel, ODBC, etc.)? What happens if you try to access the source data in a method other than Workbench?

    Hey @MichelleH we are using the SQLOLEDB (64-bit) provider for this.

    When I query the exact same query in SSMS it takes about 2 mins to execute the 1.4mil rows.

    @Jmoreno Interesting… are you querying from SSMS on the same machine as Workbench?

    @MichelleH yup on the same machine and it took a little under 3 minutes right now
