How to use Triggered reports with Alerts?

I have tried using the dataset option and it works fine. When I try to do the same using Alerts the Enable button on top does not work. Has anyone faced the same issue? Also, are we supposed to disable the alert?

I don't see any enable button on the Alerts section. There are settings in the General tab that configure alerts and notifications. Perhaps this is affecting what you see?

When I set an alert on a dataset, the alert shows up in ALERTS section clicked from the top ribbon bar. I can see the existing alerts and configure them there. But I don't see a way to add from that screen.
