Calculating Week on Week customer retention

Hi, i need assistance calculating week on week customer retention using a domo beastmode on a transaction dataset. Dataset appends new transaction based on the transaction date so a single customer has multiple rows of transaction distinguished by transaction data

What kind of data do you have? Do you have customer acquired/customer lost dates? You can join to a date dimension and calculate per customer per month if a customer is active or not.

You can calculate the beginning day of the week using a beast mode:
`date` - INTERVAL (DAYOFWEEK(`date`)-1) DAY
Alternatively though I recommend using a date dimension table with custom offsets to make this easier so you can see how many you have from the prior week and calculate week over week differences. I've written on this here:

Its a transaction table. if customer A makes a purchase today , a row is created with date of transaction.
