Hello,

I'm trying to compare the number of sessions in the last 28 days with the number of sessions in the 28 days prior to that. How do I accomplish this with a period-over-period multi-value chart?

This seems fairly straightforward in google data studio

But it seems like I'd have to create BM in Domo based on some of the threads I've been reading?

Thanks!

Yes, in Domo, you can create a period-over-period comparison by using a multi-value chart. However, unlike Google Data Studio, you will need to create a calculated column or Beast Mode to achieve this.

To create a period-over-period comparison using a multi-value chart in Domo, you can follow these steps:

    1. Create a new data set in Domo that includes the necessary data for your chart, such as the number of sessions and the date of each session.
    2. Create a new card in Domo and choose the Multi-Value chart type.
    3. Drag and drop the Sessions column into the Value field, and the Date column into the X-Axis field.
    4. Click on the Edit Data button on the right-hand side of the card, and then click on the + sign next to Columns to create a new calculated column.
    5. In the calculated column editor, use a Beast Mode to calculate the number of sessions in the last 28 days.
