I don't want to remove ALL filtering ability for participant-level users, but there are certain instances where that would be ideal. Is that possible?
You can't conditionally show or hide different filtering options. If you're looking to restrict the records returned for specific users you can look into PDP to automatically do filtering so they won't be able to see other records.

is there a way to restrict card filtering on domo? I have several card on my dasboard but there are particular card I want them to retain their data. in other words i do not want some cards to get filtered when i apply a filter on others.
