I have a details view drill path that I want to save as a new standalone card on the same page. Is there a way to clone a drill path and turn it into its own card? Thanks!
Disregard, I think I figured this out.
Hi @mcgeete, there may actually be a solution in the works but I believe it's currently not possible to make the drill path card into a top-level card without recreating it from scratch. Let us know how you went about it.
A workaround to this could be to redesign the main card as a simple landing site (e.g. A pie chart), which would serve as a button, that shows something like a Count of one of the values in your card. Once the chart is clicked on, it'll direct users to the detailed drill path card.
For future users looking at this thread, you can save a drill layer as its own stand-alone card by clicking "Save As" when editing that layer in Analyzer. It will only save that individual layer, so any layers below that will still need to be manually recreated.
@MichelleH is this a beta feature? when I'm in a drill layer, the only options available are "Save" and "Save and Close".
@mhouston Correction... "Save As" is not within Analyzer, but can be found in the Sharing menu from the drill layer. My apologies.
@MichelleH thanks!! that's really helpful to know about
Thanks for sharing that @MichelleH
