Full disclosure: I'm really not so smart that I knew the name "slopegraph" without looking it up. It's a chart type that I've admired several times over the years at fivethirtyeight.com. It's about the most economically and easily interpretable chart type I can think of for showing relative and absolute change over time. Here's an example:

I just looked it up and, no big shock, Ed Tufte invented this chart type in The Visual Display of Quantitative Data. Below are links to a couple of write-ups:

Slopegrapths are fantastic for "tellings stories with data." Clear, economical, easy to interpret, and easy to interpret accurately.
Is this something Domo has? (I haven't found it.) If not, can I offer this as a feature request.
