Create a histogram
So I already have all the data that I need to create a histogram. As dipicted by this Excel pivot chartHistogram
I am plotting NPS scores for my firm and also against competitors.
In excel I would use =frequency(data array, bins array) and then it would sort it into groups and from there I would do my histogram.
In Domo I would assume I would use some count function for a different range, but then would that then mean that I need to have distinct beast mode calculated values for each bin and each competitor?
Has someone solved for this?
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Hi AvecWizard,
Thank you so much for reaching out. Our histogram chart type only supports one series at a time currently. So, in this situation, this would have to be 3 separate cards. Here is more information on powering up Histograms
http://knowledge.domo.com?cid=histogram
If you ultimately want to keep your data grouped in one card for easier comparisons, you might want to check out the grouped bar chart. You can have multiple series here, but you may need to create your own histogram buckets using a data flow before creating the card.
Thank you for the suggestion, however, allowing histogram charts to have multiple series is a great idea! Please visit the Dojo Ideas Exchange http://dojo.domo.com/t5/Ideas-Exchange-suggest-and-vote/idb-p/Ideas. You can search existing ideas and then vote for it if it matches what you have in mind. If you cannot find it, please create a new Idea which can then be voted on by your fellow Dojo members by clicking the white arrow next to the idea.
Thank you,

Thanks hrh514,
I showed our Domo consultant what I was trying to do in excel and with a couple of data transformations using the beast calculation mode (one to define the bins and the other to define the sort order of the bins) I now have a perfect replication of what I need (actually better as I can filter by date more easily) Note the pictures below have different data channels
Domo Histogram (all)Excel Pivot Table
What would then be spectacular would be a play button that I can add data through time to see how things are changing over time...as provided by the late great Hans Rosling as shown in the link below

Domo support,
Please add Data-labels for Histogram charts, there is no option to add it in "Properties"
Kindly add it as soon as possible.

hi, would you please share the beast calculation, I am trying to design something like this.
