I want to limit my data visualized to greater than today. I haven't been able to find a way to do that so I have to go in and change the date each day. Can this be done automatically?
Oh! You would drop this Beastmode into the filter location. You'd put the normal fields in the axis still.
This could be accomplished in a Beastmode. I'd use something like this:
CASE WHEN
`Date Field` (whatever your date field is called) > CURDATE()
THEN `Future` (or whatever you want to call this)
ELSE `Historical` (also called whatever you want)
END
You would just filter the card to "future" and the data would dynamically update for you. Beastmodes calculate on a view basis. So every time that you access it, this will render.
Let us know how that works for you. You can also check out the help center for future Beastmode help.

Tried the formula and this is the validation response:
`EstimatedCloseDate`>= CURDATE()
THEN `Future`
ELSE `Historical` END
Try using:
CASE WHEN `EstimatedCloseDate`> CURDATE()
THEN 'Future'
ELSE 'Historical'
The single quotes for Future and Historical instead of the backticks should fix it.
Let me know how that goes. Thanks.
Great, got it to work and display. It its accumulating all future amounts as one amount called Future. I would like it to show the future amounts per month instead. Do I need to create a beast mode for month?
Thank you. This was a big help.
Awesome!
Thank you again for participating in Dojo Day.
