App Studio Background Image Issue

Is anyone else having this problem? The app background setting also updates the individual page background. This is problematic because the page background has no option for transparency….so they overlap each other.

For example, if I set an image for the app background, it shows the same image for the app as well as the page, and if the page is set to fixed width…it overlays on top.

    I think that's a Domo UI limitation. When the app background setting updates, the page background also gets updated. This causes issues, especially when using images and fixed width layout.

    Instead of putting a background on the app, try using page settings to set an image by page.

    It was never an issue before.

    And I have tried using page settings to set an image by page. Setting either one updates both and overrides the other. This is fairly new behavior.

    I opened a case on this. This problem is from a recent change and now is making my apps look like a mess when they used to look nice.

    I also forgot to mention that it also stretches the background when you use page settings, instead of tiling it. These issues make it impossible to use anything other than a 100% solid color if you expect any kind of scrolling.
