New Excel Files as Data Sets Creating Extra Columns

I am currently attempting to set up new Data Sets in Domo by loading Excel files containing daily budget data for multiple departments. However, once the file is loaded into Domo it shows two extra columns as follows:

These extra columns are breaking the dataflow where the file is needed.

    That is a normal pivot added by the upload process to provide helpful Meta data on the underlying dataset - so you didn't do anything wrong!

    To ensure your ETL still runs as expected - throw a "Select Columns" tile prior to the transforms (upstream) and remove those 2 metadata columns.
