I’m trying to recreate a Top N by category (within partition) chart in Domo, similar to what we can do in Tableau using addressing/partitioning or in Power BI using DAX functions.
From what I understand, Domo doesn’t support this directly within visualizations. Instead, we need to pre-process the dataset—essentially calculating the Top N within each category (like region, segment, etc.) beforehand in Magic ETL or SQL.
Can anyone confirm if that’s the standard approach in Domo? Or is there a more dynamic way to achieve Top N within partition visuals directly in Analyzer?
