downloading to PowerPoint

I cannot figure out why when downloading a dashboard to PowerPoint using the Microsoft PP add in that the cards all come in on a title slide. Is there a way to select what type of slide they download to? I am using my companies approved PowerPoint template and when I download all the cards come in on a title slide? I even tried starting with a content slide and it ignores that.

Also is there a way to tell the program which card you want on slide 1 and so on. they seem to download in a random way not in the order arranged on the dashboard. The only option there is to select is newest, oldest or by alpha, which I don't want.

Thank you,

  • I'm a little confused as to which way you are populating your powerpoint. You say "download" which makes me think that you are on a dashboard in Domo and clicking the export option and choosing export as powerpoint from this menu.

Using this method, it will download in the order that the dashboard is laid out and will potentially put several cards on a slide, depending on the dashboard layout.

If you are actually using the powerpoint Domo add-in, then you should have Domo in your ribbon like this:

This option gives you the most control. I would suggest using the Search option in here and starting with a blank powerpoint presentation if you are having trouble with your company template. Select a card and add it to a slide. Once you have it added, you can copy and paste it to your company's powerpoint template.
