Percentage change on a line graph

I can't seem to find an easy way to show percentage change between values in my line chart..I would think it would be simple for the software to display as all information is there. I want to show the values of each month IN ADDITION to the % change between the values each month. It seems beast mode is not the route as I can only display one metric on Y axis and it also seems period over period charts don't give me what I want as it compares to a prior period rather than simply the month before..apologies if I overlooked a forum that already has this answer!
