Drill Path error

Hello, need help if anyone knows the reason what could be the reason for this error message:

I am using drill path and this is the visualization I want to make:

This is what drill path in my DOMO looks like:

For Reports 1 and 2 - I use the same dataset which is "View of loss"
For Report 3 I changed the dataset and used "Policy"

I have both the Broker and Policy # columns in both datasets that I used.

For Reports 1 and 2 it is working properly, when I click the broker it will drill to report 2 which is the broker info, but when I click policy # I am getting the error message above.

Any suggestions, things to remember or tricks in using drill path please.

Thank you!

Double check that ALL columns used, not just for drilling, but included in use in the card are on both datasets. So if one is applied as a filter or sort or exists in use on the card it should be in both datasets.

A couple things to note from the knowledgebase article on drill paths that may be root cause of the issue:

    • Calculations you create using Beast Mode are inherited when you drill from one view to another using the same DataSet. However, calculations are not inherited when you drill to a different DataSet.
    • You cannot create Beast Mode calculations on any card in a Drill Path except the top-level card. Calculations created on any other cards in a drill path will disappear after they are saved.
