Adobe Analytics - JWT authentication method retirement

Adobe has announced that it will retire the use of JWT credentials to access its APIs on Jan 27th 2025 in favour of the Server-Server OAuth mechanism.  Domo has already published the following connectors that use this authentication mechanism:

(1) Adobe Analytics 1.4 Server to Server OAuth Connector ( com.domo.connector.adobeanalytics.server)

(2) Adobe Analytics v2 OAuth Partition Connector - Server to Server (com.domo.connector.adobeanalyticsv2.server)

The following connectors will now be considered legacy connectors.  Domo will continue to support these connectors until Jan 27th 2025, but they will cease to pull data when the JWT authentication mechanism is sunset.  After Jan 27th 2025, these connectors will no longer be supported:

(1) Adobe Analytics 1.4 JWT Connector  (com.domo.connector.adobeanalytics.jwt)

(2) Adobe Analytics v2 JWT Partition Connector (com.domo.connector.adobeanalyticsv2.jwt)

Customers should not power up any new datasets using the legacy connectors.  New datasets should only be powered up using the new Server-Server-OAuth connectors.  Existing datasets on the legacy connectors can be migrated to the new versions on request by contacting Domo Support.  We would suggest requesting dataset migration as early as possible to avoid service disruptions or delays.

As an update to this announcement, Adobe has set the retirement date for the JWT authentication method to June 30th 2025. In preparation for this date, Domo will make the following changes to the Adobe Analytics 1.4 and 2.0 JWT connectors:

    (1) On April 20th 2025, the Adobe Analytics 1.4 and 2.0 connectors that use JWT will be removed from the Appstore and the Eye in the Sky Modal.  Datasets created prior to this date will continue to run, but customers will not be able to power up any new datasets.

    (2) On June 3rd 2025, Domo will disable existing datasets that use the JWT connectors.  The datasets will not be deleted but they will not be able to to pull new data.

To prevent a disruption of service, Domo can migrate datasets that are powered by these connectors to the corresponding connectors which use the Server-to-Server OAuth mechanism. This migration allows customers to seamlessly transition to the new authentication mechanism without having to create any new datasets or update any downstream assets such as dataflows, cards and alerts. Customers who wish to take advantage of this service should submit a Support ticket as soon as possible to ensure the datasets are migrated before the cutoff date of June 3rd 2025.
