Getting an Editable PPT chart from Domo
Charts as pictures are not working for us. We need to get data from Domo as an editable PPT chart. Has anyone built a connector or workflow to achieve this? Would love to hear if its possible and how you approached it.
Edit to add: The goal is to automate this workflow so that you can generate the editable PPT for several charts from a single data set filtered to the recent data.

There is a way to allow external users to edit/create their own cards using Domo Everywhere. May be an option for you. Otherwise, it sounds like they are just needing to source data from Domo to create charts outside of Domo. For that I would look at Excel plugin as @david_cunningham suggested or using Domo's Integration Studio to write data from Domo elsewhere to build the charts.

I haven't done this - but off the top of my head I would say the easiest way would be to:
- Connect Domo data to Excel using the excel connector, and pull into Excel.
- Make the charts/visualizations you want
- Reference that in your PPT

That makes sense but how would you automate the workflow so that you can generate the editable PPT for several charts from a single data set filtered to the recent data? Otherwise its a lot of work for every report.

Domo has great plugins that will allow you to do exactly what you are describing:

@ColemenWilson We are already using the Office plug-in. It exports the chart as a picture.

Why isn't charts as pictures working for you?
Have you considered using Domo Everywhere? If I solved your problem, please select "yes" above

@ColemenWilson For two key reasons, 1) some clients require a editable PPT chart and 2) The Domo visualization tools don't allow enough customisation to make the charts look professional. For example, often labels are cut off, you can't set the spacing between grouped bar charts, sometimes you need to edit a label, etc. To many reasons to list.
What aspect of Domo Everywhere are you suggesting? We have used it to embed cards.

@david_cunningham would love to see if you have any suggestions re automating the workflow. Would I need to use a separate tool such as Power Automate?
