Creating Alert to identify significant data changes from previous day
Hello,
I am currently building a number of data control checks in DOMO for daily files which get uploaded to our client portal site.
The cards all look fine and when viewing the cards I am able to see if there are any significant data changes from the previous day for a specific column of data.
I am now looking to automate this via the alert function and wondered if anyone knew an accurate way of how I can create an alert comparing how the data changes from the previous day? Mainly to identify a change in data by 5 or 10% either as an increase or decrease.
Using the example below, the total sum of the Bookmarketvalueperiodend dropped on 29/01/24 from what was sent to DOMO on the 28/01/24. Is there a way I can build an alert comparing data today with the previous day?

If you use the most recent value of the
BOOKMARKETVALUEPERIODEND
for your summary number you can then configure a card alert to detect a change for more or less than 5%.**Was this post helpful? Click Agree or Like below**
