Tab Functionality in Beastmode Editors Broken
For years when pressing tab on the keyboard when in a DOMO code editor it has functioned like an auto complete or a tab space entry, however recently this functionality has broken. Tab no longer autocompletes nor does it allow to add quick spacing for code readability. Instead, it moves to the next element in the beastmode editor browser window (and in some browsers completes the tab action before moving to the next element).
I have tried this in beastmode editor on chrome, firefox, and edge (in windows 10) and all 3 produce a similar issue. However, this issue is not present when making edits in a Magic ETL formula tile editor, nor in a MySQL transform editor on any browser.
Has anyone else found a work around for this issue or is this a bug in the beastmode editor?

We posted about this same issue a few weeks ago. The workaround is to use enter instead of tab. It would be nice if Domo reverted back to the old tab functionality though.

I did see that post, however I don't think it actually resolves the issue. The tab spacing is the biggest point of frustration as it makes the code editor significantly more difficult to use.

Not the biggest fan of the 'enter' work around either and would love to see a return to the previous functionality. Tab should autocomplete the suggested option when actively editing text. (Same with Tab + arrowing up and down if there are multiple options). Usually it's when not editing text that Tab cycles through the elements on the active window.

Oh I think this belongs in ideas exchange with nmizzel's.

I don't see anything around this in the ideas exchange, has anyone else? If not I can get it created.

Oh yeah you're right Colemen, it looks like nmizzel's was just a regular post, too:

Oddly, the tab functionality still works in the formula editor in Magic ETL, just not in Analyzer. Seems more like a bug that should be sent to support@domo.com.
