MoM, YoY, YTD on same store growth for different upload dates
Hey Everyone -
Looking for help on how to compare same store growth on a MoM, YoY, and YTD when comparing various upload dates. EX: Athens/UGA is a submarket with with a 28 properties that we have collected market rent data on for 5 months now. Would like to compare December->November/January/December 2021 (if we had the data).
Here is a screenshot of my pivot table needing ability to sort by top performers on the aforementioned date ranges.

I’d recommend utilizing a date dimension dataset with different offsets so you have more control of your PoP values and it will allow you to have multiple types of periods o. The same graph. I’ve done a write up on how to do this is the past here: https://dojo.domo.com/main/discussion/53481/a-more-flexible-way-to-do-period-over-period-comparisons#latest
