Treemap Chart Customization
Is there a way to organize the treemap chart to a custom layout?

Can you describe more how you are wanting it to look? It bases the sizes off of the value field and the sorting property. You can manipulate it by creating a beast mode, but the end result would need to go in the value field. You can then make use of the different macros in the label settings and hover text settings to display additional information.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the response, it was not letting me reply before. To give you an idea, each box of the treemap represents a different machine. The goal would be to organize the boxes in a manner so that it replicates the layout of our machine shop.

I think you are going to have better luck if you use the custom chart feature. You can upload any layout that you like as an svg file and then Domo will make it a heat map for you. Here is a video of how I did it on a human body.

This KB article was also very helpful for me when I did it. You can see in the KB article some different examples of how it can be used.
