Is there any row_number or rank function in beast mode?

Currently at this time, these functions are not available in a BeastMode. However, they can be done in an ETL Dataflow, or using a MySQL Dataflow, though I recommend the ETL Dataflow because there are less steps involved than using MySQL.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed that in ETL data flow. Even I can do the same in our server etl where I am using a staging DB. I can just add a new column. It was just my thought that wouldnt be a row_number or rank group by stuff can be very relevant in beast mode?

I think it would be a great Enhancement Request for our BeastMode functionality. You can let our Product team know about this by submitting Feedback using the Feedback button inside of your Domo Main Menu.

You are also able to create suggestions in the Domo Dojo here: https://dojo.domo.com/t5/Ideas-Please-suggest-ideas-to/idb-p/Ideas. In this section of the Dojo, customer suggestions can be "liked" by other customers, and updates will be intermittently provided about whether something will be implemented, and if so, when.

I am actually looking to use this feature in Beast Mode because I need it to be dynamic.  I need to rank to update, as filtering occurs.  I don't think this would be possible with the ETL.
