Can filters be reset on drill paths?

When creating a drill path fitlers from the parent card are retained and applied even when a new data set is brought in. Is it possible to create a drill path that contains information filtered out of the parent cards.?

 

Attempt to satisfy the need, a copy of the dataflow that supports the parent card was created, this copy was brought in as the supporting data set for the drill path card. Although the copied data set is not filtered the data filtered from the parent card is not available in the drill path.

I'm not aware of a solution to this, but one thing I've done before is create a new card with the view I want and relate it to the card I would come from, so the next view is still one click away.  That might not work for you but it's something to consider.
