error connecting to ODBC

Using DOMO Workbench v 3.0 (32 bit) on Windows 10 (64 bit)
Attempting to connect to a 32 bit system DSN results in an error;
"Error connection to ODBC: ERROR [08001][ODBC Sybase driver][Sybase] Login failed."
"Error [HY000] [DataDirect][ODBC Sybase driver][Sybase]ct_connect(); protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed."
This occurs with each of 3 ODBC connections that I have utilizing this same driver. All 3 work fine with MS Excel.
